Suction Side automatic pool cleaners plug into a dedicated suction port on the side of your pool, or in some cases, into your skimmer using a special connector. Our suction cleaners come with the needed connectors you will require if you are using your skimmer for the suction point on your pool. We also offer a more efficient skimmer adapter option. Pressure type automatic pool cleaners are designed for those pools that have a pressure side connection on the pool wall. This type of pool cleaner usually uses a separate pump and timer to operate the pool cleaner. This separate pump is called a booster pump. There are a few pressure side pool cleaners that do not require a booster pump. They connect to an existing return line (that's where the water comes back into the pool). Check the details on each pressure side pool cleaner to see if it requires a booster pump.
Robotic automatic pool cleaners operate independently of your existing pool pump. They usually connect into an electrical wall outlet at the back of your house. They can clean and vacuum your pool even if the pool pump is not running! Note: always be sure your electrical outlet is GFI protected, and meets all local and state building codes.
